wow lots of work going on !!

I am absolutely shattered tonight. Got stuck in to the rear suspension first thing this morning. Had that finished off early afternoon, helped my buddy Augusto clean his wheels (which were filthy), also did some work on my wheel refurb project and now putting my youngest to bed.

Is that the Blaupunkt New york 800 double din? I'd like to get the Ripspeed DV720, with push button 7" screen for dvds. Nice bit of kit.

Its a single DIN Blaupunkt Hamburg, its about 3 - 4 years old at this stage but ticks all the boxes!

Today I am doing some refurb work on my Blitz wheels. Even though the outer part is polished nicely and the centres are spotless powdercoat, the inner rims don't look even vaguely new so I have to do something about that.... Then there's the valves... then wheel nuts... I will be devastated having to put these on the car there's too much work/sweat gone in to them!

I got a new flexi pipe put on the exhaust, and just about made it to the nct centre on time, Passed for the 2nd time now in a month This nct cert will last till December 2012 So on another happy front I've managed to get a new Job which means i'll be heading over to Retro Cars for a quote on getting rid of underbody rust and having it wax oiled, then I'll be looking at my re-spray

Tomorrow I will be sorting out the car after the trackday.

New brake pads all round.

Bleed brakes again.

Change clutch master cylinder seals.

Check all fluid levels and tyre pressures.

Might even wash it!!

Well I was going to say your car looked a bit dirty in the pics but then I thought maybe it was all rubber and brake dust seeing as you would be pushing so hard on the track

Looks great Smurf!

I painted the inside of my wheels today, three coats of aluminum colour and two of clear coat.

Oh the pains of a T-Bar! I love them, had two MR2s with the T-Bar roof, but for all the time I actually used it (hardly ever) and all the time I had drips and stress over it (every time it rained, which is a lot in Ireland) I would actually avoid the T-Bar completely if I ever get a 2 again.

I would keep an eye on that Becky, water does not run up hill even from the underside of a moving car!! unless you were parked in a flood I can't see the water coming up thru them.

I done the coax trick (pushes the seals out) and the clingfilm and silicon fix and it held its own on tuesday...no drips or condensation so if it survived that it'll survive anything. ...I think you can push the pin holes out with a few washers and that works also.

Been cleaning up the brackets that hold my Wilwood 4-pot rear calipers and handbrake calipers. Nothing that a flap disc and steel wire wheel couldn't deal with. Going to visit Cablecraft in Rathcoole, Dublin, this Wednesday for custom handbrake cables. The cables that came with the kit never worked properly.

Did it affect your policy getting the wilwoods...lad on the dyni day had brembos on the front of his audi and a lot of companies wouldn't quote him.

Didn't get to do anything on the deuce this weekend. Too busy with family stuff.

Every time I see this thread though it makes me feel angry about the state my wheels are in now...
