i drove from cork to dublin and back home yesterday i drove up with a full tank i had just over half a tank when i arrived and i threw in 20 euro on the way home just for the sake of it i now have just under half a tank. RESULT i was expecting a tank and a half not bad for a 93 2litre

I find I get about 300km to a tank with mainly city style driving. thats with a n/a mk2. Not fantastic but better than I would have expected.

Good going . I'm heading up to Dublin myself next week so that's good to hear, hopefully mine will be as efficient. My dad has a 1996 Carina E and to be honest I don't find much difference between that and the MR2 for economy. I wouldn't say its the most frugal car going but its not the worst either especially for a 20 year old car as you say.

that was drivin up at an average speed of around 100km and driving down at 50km but only because i didnt think id have enough to get home
