Hi guys so as above my brother, his son and myself are putting together a track car. We are using a 95 rev3 NA at the moment the engine is w@*ked so it has to come out and I'm in the process of getting a replacement.

The rear struts seem to be adjustable.

It has a rear strut brace

Have a hks mushroom filter from another car ready to go on

And it has a power flow exhaust

It has a half leather and swead interior in white and blue and door cards and steering wheel to match seen as most of the interior is going will fire a lot of this stuff up for sale in a proper tread later.

Image shackis being an @ss so will upload more pics later

He is in Belfast, you would need to speak to him for the details, PM him and I will say to him.

I have a broken foot at the minute and am going back to the hospital on the 17th to see whats next so I cant commit to that date at all.

We will get down to Mondello some time in the near future, there are a few MR2s regularly coming to Kirkiston these days, cheaper day than the Delo.

Right so time for a little update.
Engine in tried to start it and it was stuck after about a quarter turn. Engine back out and a bolt was caught between the flywheel and the block. Engine back in again and fuel pump running but not starting wire starter direct and away she went. Running a little of but it's running so that's a major improvement.

Nice one, keep it up.

I gave one of the family members a little spin yesterday, can't remember his name for my sins, hope he enjoyed it, I did. He was saying the heater matrix would be out before the end of the day after seeing mine

He loved it up there that's my nephew / our head mechanic. He's still in college so he only gets to work on the car at the weekend. So since being up with you guys he has ten times more work done in 2 days than in the previous three months. I can't really comment tho as I just don't have the time at present so I'll just be glad whenever he has it sorted.
He was saying the grip you have with the track tyres was unbelievable.

Yep its kinda fantastic alright, not so sideway though.

The problem I have now is getting a tyre that will last. A full set of normal road tyres will last me about a day and a half.

Second hand rally tyres last a day, so now we have some new middle compound Kumho V70a's on the rear and they are great but I think to soft also. It gets expensive at this point, the rear tyres were €364 thanks funk I am sharing the track car with one of the guys in work.

Wow

That's a hole lot of cash for new boots. Think we will be sideways with whatever tyres I have lying around for the first couple of days

As I was telling you the other day we will probably be a little down on power as well. So I suppose after the first day or so we will probably know if it's power or grip which will be the cheapest step forward. Never thought I would say power would be cheaper than grip

Not sure if he got the heater out last night .but he was well impressed
