Hi Folks just joined the forum, I have a rev2 turbo, that I plan to put a rev1 engine into. I plan to use the engine harness & ecu, AFM etc from the rev1.
I am hoping to use the rev2 gearbox which has the electric Speedo sensor.
And I hope to retain the rev2 wiring loom that runs from the engine fuse box up to the junction box under the passenger foot well. Any thoughts tips would be appreciated, cheers

Welcome to MR2.ie

I'm not an expert around the swap that you're proposing, however my understanding is that the main differences surrounded the throttle body inlet and exhaust manifolds. There may be other things to tweak and change along the way however with any swap you will find that.

Hi ,I'm going for the rev1 engine, simply because I happen to have one in stock, no other reason, planning to keep things as standard as possible,
