Hi all,

After seeing eringobragh's efforts with his Kestrel I was so impressed that I had to give it a go. He informed me that there's a group buy on boards so I thought it might be of interest to some of you lads, get the 2 lookin all shiny for the Summer (assuming we've not had our lot!)

Here's the link:

Atm its €155 for a complete setup and it closes on Sunday at 9pm.

Cheers

Fair play for posting this .. You can't go wrong with the kestrel
...just do a panel per day as it can get repetitive

Still only done the one wing and the rest of the front looks dull in comparison!

Got the autoglym clay bar kit to help with the process.

With my red paint fading so quickly I was thinking of investing in one of these sometime. Are they easy to use? Is there a specific type of polish you need to use with them and where can you buy it?

I don't know much about them but from what I've gathered the dual action ones are much easier and safer to use that the traditional rotary ones because they rotate and oscillate at the same time so there's no heat build up etc. The polish comes with the kit but I'd say you'd get it in most car shops, halfords and the like.

yeah there are easy to use it would take the work out of polishing.. cleancar.ie or detailingshed.com do the complete kits..you will need to buy a sealant or wax to suit your paint colour

this site has a wealth of info: detailingworld.co.uk/ or in the detailing thread on boards.ie www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=77877340#post77877340

You should get help there
