Full beam Dash light, NCT fail need Help... 3 Years, 5 Months ago
Hi all need a hand.
Car went for NCT and it failed on the full beam Dash light not working.
It never did work or i never noticed it not working but its failed for it now and need to fix it. all bulbs changed in cluster, full beams and main beams working, put power from stake witch up amd the light comes on but when i operate the lever the light doesnt work on the dash is it down to a little fuse or a full replacement of the levers

Any help really appreciated and if anyone knows where a part can be got to tested be a good help too.

Its a Rev3 turbo. Jap

You hardly have access to a spare cluster you could try? Narrow it down a bit...

Continuity test the whole cluster no breaks. There power going to the light if I put power from the stake unit up. Ain't got a stake unit to test that side at the moment in the process of getting one fingers cross to test. There is an (-)earth coming from the stake unit to the cluster for the full beam light on the dash but when there is power put to it. It works, does anyone know if ye cluster is an (-)earth trigger or (+)positive tigger. And I want a spare stake unit so I don't have to take the steering wheel off if that ain't the fault.
