What about a nice aeroware front lip?
It will take your front down lower to match your skirts but still retain your oem front bumper.

I'd agree with you on the Bomex front and Also with the general consensus that a lip spoiler on the OEM bumper looks nicer than an aftermarket one. However if your heart is set and I'm probably gonna get grief for saying this but the 355 front bumper looks unreal in the flesh, and sits a lot lower!
Just don't put the prancing horse on the front and get a set of round fogs and your all set Heres a link to what it looks like :

PS - In case your wondering - I can't upload pics in work

Ah what ?!? I'd of been all over that if I had the chance Julo -
355 front, with your sides, Spats at the back and maybe an Aeroware spoiler (My New Fav )or a mk5 one to finish it off !
Lovin the gold rims too, really works well on white!

the way i see it lips/splitters are the cheap alternative to getting a proper front bumper.
If ur too lazy to respray and fit the proper bumper yeah the splitter is the second best option.
personally id never get the 355 bumper but i think even that is better than a splitter.
But sure whatever floats ur boat...

Personally I'd pay the extra few pound for a fujimura f/b but there hens teeth, as for lips I don't mind there cheap and going to crack no matter how carefull you are if I saw a nice f/b that suited the skirts Id get them no matter of the price

Actually Spla - I could'nt disagree more !
I love the smooth lines and fit and finish of the OEM bumper. A lot of aftermarket options are too fussy like veilside been a good example. Even TRD and TOM'S closely resemble the overall shape of it, but the original can look a little chinless (if that's a word ) and fitting a nice splitter, like aeroware or bomex, isn't the second best option - I think its hands down the best way to go
But I suppose, your right, if we all liked the same thing - we'd all be driving the exact same MR2 with the exact same color, exact same wheels,...

id have to go with cashy..I think some body kits take the nice lining and shape off the mr2..I think I'd prefer a nice lip on the original front bumper like aeroware..the only thing that's putting me off getting one is that my mr2 is red and I'm yet to see an aftermarket red bumper the same colour as the car without getting a whole respray:-)
