After a spirited drive home from Dublin (with a nice black mk3) a couple of weekends ago I've developed a few problems with my turbo
Big power loss and overall poor performance. I've checked all pipes and leads. Boosting to 1bar no probs but no go?
When cooled the check engine light comes on. But when up to temp no light. I fixed an oil leak from a pipe I fitted for the oil pressure sender.
Fault codes showing
24 Intake Air Temp. Sensor Open or short in intake air temp. sensor signal (THA).
31 Air-Flow Meter Signal Open cct in VC signal or short cct between VS and E2 when idle contacts are closed.
34 Turbocharging Pressure Signal Fuel cut-off due to high turbocharging pressure.
52 Knock Sensor Signal Open or short in knock sensor signal (KNK).
I've swapped the AFM and pulled the efi fuse for 12 hrs to reset the Ecu. But I'm still getting all 4 faults this morning.
