Yep I've a shitload of mods to do in the coming months...folding mirrors, heated leather seats and a few other tasteful mods.

Haha...all led stuff comes from china and we dont have to worry about canbus errors:

FYI Heres who I used for those bits...very cheap as well:

Its just the heating pads and loom you put them under your existing seat covers and wire in

One of the lads on another forum put same kit in his 7 series

I can get ye a link if you want on iPhone here ...it's 60eur for 2 seats

I seen a thread about the heated seats on another forum recently, here she is...

Thought I'd share it here, maybe of some use to those thinking of this mod.

Re: leds 4 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 106
UPDATE:

Not too happy with the boot light in the MR2...the filament bulb was worse then useless and the 8SMD LED was pretty poor as well, I'd given up and used my LED torch to find stuff in the boot...then I got a 140 LED strip and soldered on a 501 connector...and at last there was light!

...also the passenger seat is out and the heating pads are fitted...but thats enough for one day. I also want to soundproof under the seats while their out. with some deadening stuff that E39 MSport gave me ages ago.

Ha I love Communist mail.
It's built my Corolla project to date.

Cool thread! KC+1
I did the same conversion on my Corolla with SMD LED boards and the difference is huge.
I plan to do the same with the MR2 soon.

Finally got around to doing the red transparency mod on the dash clocks (just waiting for darkness for some pics)

While the clocks are out I changed the full dip bulb to a blue LED - I always thought the bulb was a bit of the dim side and hard to see sometimes - probably not wise to change any of the other bulbs though!

Got some #74 bulbs from fleabay (used the blue one)

Lovely overall improvements to the lights, well done.

Would you have a list of all the bulbs you have changed (bulb numbers)?
Would like to copy what you have done, just too lazy to do all the ebay searching

Which ebay seller did you order these from (too many shops selling rubbish on ebay, would prefer to order from a known seller)

Cheers,

Shane
