Ok it's a touch extreme for me, but this is an intense MR2 to look at. The guy did it himself!

Its nice, very menacing looking. I like the idea of a flat - matt primer look, but would have went with black rather than grey, at least that would look finished. The grey just plain looks like primer and therefore an unfinished paintjob. Savage job though!

Love the rear view. Has he got the power to back up the looks ?

I am trying to picture it in a high gloss finish to see which way I'd prefer it - maybe cosmos blue

Actually I'm going to have it painted SMG, I always wanted a silver MR2. As far as engine MODs, the list is too long to type , but one of the major ones is the Sard turbo kit straight for Japan and is rated at producing 600 HP, but I'm not planning to set it at that much HP. Here are some more pictures guys, thanks!

Oh you are the owner of this? Cool. So it is actually primer, had a feeling.

SMG would be very nice, I can think of one SMG fan on here that will be well happy to hear that. Black would also be extremely cool as it looks very stealthy and evil, just something about the stance with the flared arches.

Serious looking engine set up, so clean and shiney, love it! First person on here with a Sard turbo I believe. I have a SARD MC4 front and wing, quite like their style.

Best of luck with the paintjob and great work so far. Quandry's original post says that you did all this body modding yourself, fair play!

By the looks of your turbo piping, I reckon you have a boot (trunk) mounted IC.

Is that a TRD wing?

Was that car originally red?

I thought Rogue made a set but they only do the quad light conversion kit. Pricey but sexy and keeps the OEM look

Yeah the flush mounts are nice, but personally, I think the pop ups are part of the MR2s character, even though they are a bit high. I think Quandry once likened them to air brakes!

I would LOVE the Rogue low rise quads!

If we asked nicely and got the numbers, Rogue might do a group discount. Would probably need 10 or more to get a decent reduction

the low rise quads are nice but i really like the lights on the widebody in these pics. Id say they were a homemade mod, as i have never seen them anywhere before

I know Quandry loves the SMG color ! Yes, It took me about 7 months to do the body work including molding together the TRD replica wing. I wanted the wing to be one piece so it's not adjustible anymore. I do have a Trunk mount IC I will post pictures soon, but the piping is going to change soon as I'm planning to install my new Trunk Feed Intake Manifold after the paint job. I will also have replace the IC piping for shorter pipes since the plenum for my new Trunk Feed Intake Manifold is going to be located in the trunk as well. The car was red until I sanded the paint off. Thanks for the compliments guys !

Spanky, I think someone here approached Rogue before for a group buy and they politely declined. Their costs are high and they dont have much room to discount.

Also, in the past, I believe the materials used where shite and the units rusted to crap after a few months. However, I have read that they have since switched to better materials and powder coat the parts to make them more durable.

I also found a site in the US before that obviously buys these in bulk from Rogue (they are designed and built by Rogue, so they have global patent on this design) and they offered them without the light units, just the shell, low rise arms and cowling, to reduce cost. Wouldn't make much difference IMO as you would still have to source and buy 4 hella lamps. These are designed to use a certain Hella lamp, which is expensive to buy on its own anyway.
