Unreal darren delighted with it. The backfireing is class . But has to come off for test cause no cat between it. And it needs some metal polish waitin to get that somewhere.. for stainless.

Yeah she should spit the odd flame as it has no cat etc ... There is a trick to it ... my old man showed me it years ago on a mini ... when on high revs switch off the ignition and back on pretty quick .. it stops the spark plug from sparking and pushes the unburned fuel into the exhaust where it should light from heat of exhaust or from next spark from spark plug and spit a flame ... Never tried it with that exhaust but should work ... might take some practice ...

Ya they are the hsd coilovers thanks bommie unreal job there the mono ones the top spec ones. 16 stage damper in them. Offset pillow mounts in front and jus normal pillow ball mounts in the rear. One downer is the pipes that connect to the original shocks are jus hanging for now need to tidy it up a bit wit brackets on them.

Thanks cozy.

Was never happy the way the rear wheels sat in the arches so fit 20mm spacers a couple of days ago.

hi everyone. i just pick up my second mr2 for a very fair price. it's a 91 na shell with a gen3 swap. it's still running on a gen2 ecu. but, not for long. thanks to a few friendly mr2 owner here. i was able to pick up what i needed to get this baby fully gen3.

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

i added on the 94 wing and lip. just looking for a good set of mud flaps at the moment.

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

took out that 17" rims that the car came with and added the 93 rims. 25mm spacer will be added soon i hope. as for the spring. i'm not sure what's on there. look stock to me.

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

did some cleaning, full tune up and alittle bit of tucking. :)

_KUNENA_BBCODE_HIDEIMG

yeah, you still see that ugly afm for now til i get to install that gen3 ecu back on.

that's it for now. i'm really happy with my buy.

Very nice 2!
With an engine like that you may want to get a set of rev3 brakes (disc and caliper) because they are bigger than the rev 2 ones.
All you need for looks is a bodykit but if you like it stock thats cool.

Re: YOUR MR2 3 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 152
thanks. brakes are also on my what to do list. i only had this car for about 4 weeks now. so, in a short period of time. i think i have done alot to it. as it turn out. the owner before me was not very nice to this car. i ended up fixing alot of stuff. just fixing and buying replacement parts for it is killing my wallet. hahaha.. the price of love.

my first mr2 have a full body kit already. so, i'm trying to keep this one stock for re-sale later on. yeah, i hate to sale her. but, that was the plan. fix and sale. i just hope the next owner will enjoy the amount of work i put into this car.
