Is anyone up for a mini meet tomorrow night?

I was thinking of meeting in citywest carpark for a drive up the blessington road to sally's gap for a few photo's, meant to be cloudy(ish) but would in theory get some great shots of the mountains with the sunset in the background.

Meeting Point: Citywest Shopping Centre Car Park
Time: 7.45pm to 8pm
Leave: 8:15 Sharp

Fair play Dave, good idea, im up for it. Instead of McD's, there is a KFC there for a nice change?

3 cars or less is a micro meet. 4 to 9 is a mini meet. 10 plus is a full on maxi meet. These are the new definitions as set by the SWA.

Sallys Gap, do you know on the way theres a small bridge with woods to the left an right with a stream leading down to a river, there would be good on the bend, then anywhere in the sallys gap, and also right up the steep hill overlooking glendalough, my imagination may be over describing it

Cheers lads great night! Ray, fair play, you nearly got home before yourself. Check a mirror to make sure there isnt a half second delay/blur of your reflection. You may have upset the balance in the fabric of time. Easy there fella!

I dont think it matters too much if you have an N/A or a turbo when you can really drive. You can have all the power in the world and not be able to use it. It may be hard to keep up on the straights, but on the bendys, experience, skill, commitment, bravey/madness all plays a major role.

Ray can drive.

Thanks for the comments but its not me, its the car, particulary the suspension / geo setup.

Turbo time will be interesting, think 3 months of inductino should see me safe or selling spare parts.

I noticed how hard you went into bends without touching the brakes. The seemed very stable and no sway at all. I was impressed. I found that I had to dab a little brake here and there where you didnt, and felt a little twitchy. I deffo want my alignment done and still dont know what suspension is in there at all!

And dont be so modest, its never all the car. The driver IS a HUGE part of the formula.
Take Top Gear for example, the reasonable priced car that all the celebs drive. SAME car, SAME track, different drivers, different results.
