€1,300 but I think it's worth it, it's all done properly, with a warranty and they're throwing in my new Clutch for me on the house!! At least I'll have faith and Peace of mind when Im driving around!! Can't wait for her back, l'll need to take time off just so I can give her a good Rip!!!

MNixon was listed twice and I have taken RR off as well - he cant get the time off work. Next time hopefully

I am going to take my name off the list as I don't think the car will be ready at that stage.

As car needs an NCT as well as all the work I have to do + one of the weekends involves my stag night thus three days production lost. Enjoy you lot

Hold that thought MR2 Gal. Ray was an excellent BBQ chef at a drive last year ... I have a photo but I am no longer allowed to post it

We might go down the BBQ route though weather may rule it out at this time of year so we could only make a decision closer to the time. If we go that way then we will def take you up on the offer

I have to phone a restaurant recommended by one of the NI members. I will do this over the weekend and may book it if I think the price is suitable for all. If its too dear then we will be looking at picnic or bbq based option ... unless the majority want to go that way and I will happily scrap the restaurant option????

I have just been talking with the restaurant (recommended by one of our members) for lunch on this drive.

The price of a Sunday roast lunch is £7.95 + drinks, there is also an ala carte menu if you don't want to full on Sunday roast. They have a decent car park and it is right on the side of the lakes about 1 hours drive from our meeting point in Monaghan.

I think this is a great price and so I think I will book it for everyone. If there is anyone that would rather make their own plans then let me know so that I can adjust the booking accordingly.

Also, can anyone that is provisional confirm attendance or not, or give an indication of how likely they are to attend.

I will be making the booking tomorrow or Monday but I will need to confirm (as accurately as possible) by next weekend.

An old Mr2 member and a former club runner/organiser wanted to know if he could come along for the Ride, he doesn't own an Mr2 anymore but is keen to hook up with some older members and some of the lads up North he knew when running the club a few yrs back. He has lots of stories to tell and a book full of photos from all the runs and some really nice pics of some of the cars.
So what do u guys think, is it okay for him to tag along in his Toyota Soarer?????

confirmation of everything you need to know...

Routes:

STAGE 1 ... Belfast to Monaghan

STAGE 2 ... Monaghan to Lunch

STAGE 3 ... Lunch around lakes and home


Meeting at Forestside at 9:45 for a 10am leaving time.

Meeting the southern MR2.ie members in Monaghan (at the shopping centre) at 11:30 to leave these at 12noon (latest).

Lunch booked at The Moorings Restaurant at 1pm (about 1 hour from Monaghan).
