Could we get anybody who is willing to post up their results in the format used by Turlock and I will post up the results on TPM, if you want to add any descriptors on mods etc please do so.

I have already posted up the vid's and pics there, has anybody got a few of the runs uploaded yet.

Well it seems that it is almost defo the dizzy thats causing the misfire issues for me! Still i'll stand proudly by the results of

170.7 wheel hp at 4780 revs.

Thats the only result i have as the test was then aborted but since i got the voucher ill be booking in again for a re test!!!!

Still dont understand why it decided to go then and there. Bad luck i suppose!

1) Wheel(axle) Power: 232hp
2) Flywheel Torque: 272 lbft
3) Flywheel Power: 267hp (+/- 5%)
4) car year, rev, mods: Aug 1999 rev 5 GT Tbar Turbo, 170,000kms, Completely stock.
5) One or two lines on what you thought: Good to see the car is still putting out standard power even with 170k kms

Does anyone think the figures are a bit high?
e.g. 267 less 5% = 254hp at fly wheel estimated, 254 hp is a good bit more than stock, which was meant to be 250PS ~= 245bhp
Am only splitting hairs here for giggles...

Due to age the spring in your wastegate actuator probably does not have the tension it used to have. Even though your ECU is telling it to run 'stock' boost, if it was allowing through only one more psi of pressure, you're talking an extra 10hp. Go ahead and refresh your spring if you want to

Edit: your car has 170,000k's!!!? it must be highway miles, it is so new and tight etc feels like a 50k car easy

Interesting point on the wastegate....

Yeah i know 170000kms i really wanted something with less mileage on it, but it was so fecking hard to come by rev 5 tbar GT, so i just took it.

It only had one owner in Japan and had a full Toyota service history...
Now if only they had a service item to clean the engine every service i would be laughing hehe!

Don't worry about the mileage anyway, once everything is in good condition it makes no odds. Going by your dyno print out and general condition of your car you have nothing to worry about. Considering my shifter feels about 100,000k looser than yours then maybe my car is up around 300k and has been clocked a few times

Spidey, sorry forgot to post this up:

1) Wheel(axle) Power: 240.6HP @0.9BAR
2) Flywheel Torque: 278.7
3) Flywheel Power: 276.6
4) Car year, rev, mods: 1994 REVIII Turbo T-Bar, stock turbo, custom turbo piping, uprated I/C, Greddy BOV, APEXI FC, Pheonix Power Deperature Exhaust.
5) One or two lines on what you thought: Not even having the car 24hours before the dyno day, I was just hoping it wouldnt blow up! Had no idea what to expect but was delighted to find that before I even had it serviced, never mind mods or mapping, the engine was solid, the boost consistant and the power was good. I plan to do a few things, have her mapped and get over the 300WHP mark pretty soon. All in all, chuffed to be back behind the wheel of an MR2 and back in the club after 4 years.
