Thanks for the offer Kyle, but I was planning to buy all the stuff for the bbq then charge each person whatever is needed to cover the costs. I thought this might be easier and fairer for all.

That said, if anyone wants to donate anything I'm cool with that. You will still have to pay though

I'm most probably not going to make this run now.

Just realised it's the day after the Snow Patrol Concert, so I'll probably be still well over the limit until mid afternoon the next day.

hi guys im also out of this run, due to breaking my leg last monday playing football.

i might be a passenger to ricky but ill have to play that one by ear and see how my pain levels are

Hi guys, I have found out that my daughter is playing in a concert that day so I have been trumped with the family card. Would love to go along just unfortunate timing, drive safe and hope you have a super day.

I'm not overly concerned about this as we aren't going through Portrush. The Ford show starts at 1pm, with people presumably arriving all morning up to that point.

FOOD

I will be planning the food for 30 people. I will arrange all bbq's, meat, bread etc. then charge each person whatever is needed to cover the costs. I would expect this to be something like £3-5 but I will keep the receipts in case any one wants to see them

If anyone has any special dietary requirements then you must bring your own stuff.

Can I also ask that everyone brings whatever they want to drink ... just too hard to cater for all.

Early meeting point and official starting point (as on PSNI notification):

10am for 10:15am leaving - Meeting at Antrim, motorway junction car park. This is for those that want to drive up to the BBQ spot in convoy. We will be leaving hear at 10:15 sharp.

WEATHER

The weather is currently looking a little uncertain (link below). I will keep an eye on this and make a call on the BBQ by Thursday. If we don't BBQ then I have a contingency plan to go to Portstewart golf club for food before driving down the coast road.

Wheel bearing failure due to excessive power in my N/A . Car on stands last night, rear hub now off, and bearing getting replaced when I get one from Toyota.

I dread to say it as I am sure you will see it as a challenge, but you are 2 hours from hte first meeting point in Antrim so I dont think you have any chance of doing it without an average speed of about 120mph .... and we know your car goes no where near that

You would need to leave the retail park at 8:15 at the latest to have a chance.
