I'm planning a photoshoot for Sunday morning 28th March, anyone who wants to come is more than welcome. It would be a good opportunity to get some good shots for submitting to MR2 Only aswell. Going to start at Howth harbour, sunrise is at 7.07am so the start time would need to be around 6.30am, those of you with kids should be well used to starting that early! I want get some shots on samuel beckett bridge too, customs house quay and st jame's gates. I'm open to any other suggestions also.

NOTE: this is weather forecast dependant, so long as it's not 100% overcast you'll usually get some nice colour in the sky. And although it's a 7.07am sunrise, it's the day after the clocks go forward so it'll feel like 6.07am!

been dying to give the new flash a workout, i'd defo be up for this. in work at 11 but that is grand, sunrise doesnt last too long anyway!!

Cool I haven't got a flash, what camera do you use?

Don't worry about work, even if we go take photos elsewhere there's no traffic that early. last time I went out on a sunday morning I went to 6/7 spots and I was home less than 2 hours after leaving the house

Using a Canon 40D. for car shoots i'd have a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-f4.5 on it, i love that lens. then a 420ex flash with a wireless flash trigger

Do you want a hand Geoff, I could give you a dig out Saturday morning, or when would suit. I finish at three on a Friday if you want to do it on Friday evening.

Absolutely NO skanks allowed, especially if you find her asleep on the Pier with a bottle of Vodka in her hand!!!!

Thanks for the offer Ray, I have family commitments for Friday night at present though. On Saturday there are kids activities so I find that I have to do an hours work, stop and do some kids stuff, then do another hours work, stop and do some kids stuff... and on and on. Eventually I land up finishing a simple job after a few hour

but family comes first

Current forecast for sunday morning is a mix of cloud and clear skies which is exactly what we want, hopefully the forecast doesn't change

Looking forward to this, hopefully get a chance to give the car a clean up on Saturday.

Got my hose from hell done 2day, mechanic dropped it back @ 10pm and have just finished washing my car 11pm, have to say neighbourhood watch is alive and well, had a few neighbours pop their heads out their doors.

Great Photoshoot this morning!!! I'll upload the Pics I have, the Quality won't be amazing cos they were taken by my iPhone but sure hey, mnixon will have the Professional shots on here soon I'm sure!! Karma Click Mark for the great Idea and Karma click for all that showed up at 6.30am (really 5.30am!!!) especially those who came from afar!

yep turned out to be a lovely morning for it, i'll try and post up a slideshow of my photo's, looking forward to Marks

Thanks to the guys who came out this morning, I just put this thread up incase anyone wanted to come along. I didn't think there'd be any takers but obviously there are people in the club as crazy as me to get up so early I know I wouldn't have bothered this morning if I was the only one and I would've missed a great morning so thanks! you'll all get a KC over the next day or 2
