* Has everyone gotten Spec sheets in to Spanky ?

* MR2 banner - Spidey

* Misc MR2 posters, info printed out - MNixon has printed off photos. DShamrock has posters for an info/display wall. Anyone/everyone (the more the better!). Print anything MR2 related off from the web - pics, info etc. Lots of places to get free photo prints ( Photobox, Snapfish, Aldi etc)

* Gazebos (x3) - MR2Gal, Spanky and GWRinkle (from Ricky) ?

* Generator - Spanky (has to check if it will fit in the 2)

* electric kettle - Spidey (to check if we can get travel/low wattage, otherwise flasks).

* Projector/PS3 - Spidey

* Camping double burner - GWRinkle

* Mobile Boradband - Swagger

* Battery powered radio/CD - DShamrock

We attended this show last year, it as a good show pity the weather was not as good.
Anyway I got an entry form from Irish Jag Club www.irishjagclub.ie on friday last and want to see how many cars we can get to this one.

Do we have to do anything for this bar shine up the cars?

Application form is attached. As you can see, they look for payment by cheque ... I asked them about Paypal and they said they "must look into that".

Anyhow, as far as I remember - last time, we juust collected the cash (€10 if all entries in before June 10th - €20 euros after that date) and I think I got a bank draft. They sent me out the entry stickers and I gave them that morning when we met up - and you collect your commerative plate on the way in.

I think we need to send in an application form per person/car. And also one Club application form, which will list all the drivers/car regs etc - this will give us our allocated space. So, we need to collect forms/cash over next month or so.

Any volunteers with a Cheque book ?

As you can see from the pics, our first outing was just five cars and we had to spread them out, so it wouldn't look so empty !

Weather aside last year, its a great show - variety is great and for those who have never went, its not all old cars. Lots of newer, classic, American muscle, kit-cars, all genres.

I might head down to this for a bit of craic. I will keep myself as provisional for now and will make a definite call before the start of June deadline

I notice the date is the first Sunday of July when we would be planning a meet of some sort anyway. Hopefully we should get some decent numbers for this.

I collected money by paypal and wrote a cheque and dropped it around to the woman's house with all the entry forms. I think they posted the entry tickets out to peoples houses then. If I can find my cheque book I'll do it again but I don't like paypal and paypal doesn't like me so I'd only collect in person. We need to submit all the entry forms together anyway so a mini-meet is prob th best idea to get everything sorted. Charcoal BBQ's were banned last year, anyone have a portable gas one?

I've a cheque book, I have a paypal account aswell, i'm very good at using it to pay for things on ebay but have never received money on it so might need a quick lesson there.

Ah yes - I remember now. I was trying to cast my mind back and didn't really remember going for up to the bank t get a draft !

I had a look on the site and they want £29 delivery !! So, it came to about £74 in total !!

They have the same one on Amazon.co.uk for £1 cheaper for the bbq itself and then a C470 gas cartrisge for £5.99. Postage to Dublin was £19.95 for bbq + gas. Can you pm me your address and I'll see if its cheaper to get delivered up North ?

I might buy it myself, as I'll probably use it anyway.

I think nearly everyone going on Sunday is also going to the Classic Car show - so, hopefully collect nearly all the cash on Sunday. At the mo, I think the only other person not around on Sunday might be GWrinkle - so,he could use paypal.

I have just printed 20 copies of the entry form, and have it to email if anybody want, just PM me.

I won't be at the meet tonight and still not sure about the meet on sunday but i'll send it over by paypal no problem, just tell me who I have to pay
