Overnight details for Antrim run 8 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 284
Hi All,

After much deliberation behind the scenes we have decided to book the Premier Inn in Colraine www.premierinn.com
Main points were that if we were heading up on the saturday we should get most of the drive up done and leave ourselves with a short one to the meet the next morning:

So details are:

3hrs 20mins drive on Saturday to Premier Inn, Coleraine www.premierinn.com

20mins drive to meet at BBQ sunday morning

Probably meet at blanch and head about 1pm to get there for 4.30ish, check in, get grub and go for a drive for some photo opportunities and maybe a swim in the sea, or other ideas welcome, bushmills distillery is down the road

Rates for premier Inn are only £51 per room, yes i said per room, So if you want to share, book a twin room and its only £25.50 a head

List for Saturday at the moment is:

Mnixon (Twin?)
dshamrock & passenger(Ozzy) - Twin Room Booked
Swagger & passenger (Twin?) - Twin Room Booked
MR2 Gal(provisional?)

Do ya not have any mates? A sister, an aunty? A granny petrolhead? Bring someone along, company on the drive too ya know? Then they can share the room and a pizza.

Surely youre not that shy

You could do the whole thing as one booking and split the bill among the 4 or 5 staying.

OR

pick up a bloke in Coleraine, bring him back to the hotel and then tell him he owes you for half the room

I dont mind splitting the bill, say £51 X 4rooms = £204 divided by 6 = £34 per person, its well worth not leaving anyone out. thats about €40 a head

Hi Guys, I'm hoping to make it to the run, but it would only be a day trip for me due to family commitments.

You could easily do the first three in an afternoon - about 1-1.5 hour at each with 5-10 mins drive between them. All are well signposted as well.

Asda .... WTF??? are you planning to do your weekly shop while your in the north

Its quite near the hotel, So when you forget to buy burgers etc for the BBQ just give us a bell, Asda would be much cheaper than the southern supermarkets, hmm maybe I'll bring the corolla

I'm going to be in town in the morning and plan to leave at 12, will be hitting the m1 by 12.15 ish, that should give plenty of time to meet spanky. do you want to aim to hit the m1 for around that time? i'll ring you when i get on the m1, whoever is ahead can slow down to let the other catch up?
