Wanted Rad and A/C condenser 5 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 30
Hi Guys, I have the front end ripped off my MR2 ... bumper needs painting.
A/C rad is falling apart ... even though it was holding the gas
Seeing that I have this much taken off, I'm going to replace the rad too and tidy up the bumper bar.
So if anyone has a good rad and condenser for sale ... drop me a line

My condenser was the same, just touch the thing and it crumbled away.

If you are keeping the car, my advise would be to buy a new condenser as they seem more fragile than a radiator.

You should be able to pick up a secondhand radiator in good condition for reasonable money.

Turbo and n/a models have different sized radiators.

Hi Marty, ya I think I'll have to get a new one, I just thought that with all the folks on here that are stripping out cars for track days etc, that one of them might have come off in one piece. There are 2 different sizes of rads 672 x 320 and the other one is 575 x 320 if I recall. My UK Rev4 n/a had the bigger rad, so god only knows what ones fit which cars!! As my construction studies teacher used to say ... measure twice and cut once
I have a brass tank and copper core rad ordered from UK, hopefully it'll arrive in the next few days, the condenser will have to come from US me thinks

Here is my old thread on MR2 radiators, pretty much answers all your questions on them except the A/C condenser ones.

Two years ago I paid $195.81 = €143.83.

I did buy other things to make it better value when including the shipping cost.

I purchased my condenser here www.lithiatoyotaparts.com/parts/index.cf...ch&siteid=215542

Damn ...I forgot about them, I bought T-Bar rubbers from those guys about 10 years ago!! They were about half the price of the dealer here.
I odered one yesterday from these guys :
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DENSO-477-0534-Conden...;hash=item3a77d1a402

It's a genuine Denso part and the same as what they supply to Toyota.
At $156, I can't complain. Delivery and import taxes ... all in for under 170 euro
