Anyone Any experiences with these? Need to replace my Apexi as it never had any brackets and im looking somthing new and shiney!

The thing I dont like about the apexi is it drowns out the turbo whine with its sucking sound. Do all after market induction kits sound the same? I miss the turbo whine

Recently Ive been hearing more and more about how apexi is the best induction kit to have in terms of results.
In saying that I have heard a few people over at MROC recommend the Arc kits.
My last Two had a HKS induction combined with a HKS dump valve which I really liked the sound of and you could still hear the turbo, though your not going to get shiny shiny from a HKS induction.

Yea I've seen the report on why the apexi is the best on the supra forums. It's not even that it's shiney just that it's tidy and enclosed.

Bigger turbo will soon sort your noise problem out. Ported shroud is a necessity ! Makes it sound like an electric drill

For your filter, I wouldn't bother with the big brands tbh, coupe of alu bends and silicon joiners, and a K&N from filter power. They do all sorts of shapes from cones to cylinders. And they're not dear

Doubt it to be honest - most gains are had by screwing the boost up over 2 bar!

I absolutely HATE me apexi too, its sounds awful, i much prefer the original setup.
I would be interested to hear from people who have something that sounds tasty too

I currently have the Blitz SUS which is a good filter. I will be using a K&N cone filter that came with my 3082r from KO Racing.

Here's a link for some tests on an Evo.

Get an aluminium elbow from ebay, a silicon coupler and a k&n filter will come in at well below that price.

Even if you can't weld it yourself (If you're close to me I can weld alu and stainless with my TIG) a local engineer wouldn't be more than £20 to weld those take-offs on to.

Your right there mark, wish I was useful with a TIG, might take you up on that offer.

I have one of these! Sounds nice but not if you want to listen to your turbo.
