I've a leak into the drivers side carpet. I think the problem is the seal which goes around the drivers door window, it's badly perished.(see pics)

Where can I get one of these and how are they fitted?

I've just sealed the window up with tape and will leave it sitting a few days to see if that stops the leak.

Hi yea I grabed a fist full of bolts yesterday from the foot well think I have a silver bolt a bout that size.

The strip is easy to remove just the four little black plugs two at each end. The rest is stuck with butyl tape not sure where you will get that. If you can't get tape you should be able to get butyl mastic in a silicone type tube in a motor factors. We used it fitting windows in houses in the past the only diffrence between it and silicone is it remains tacky like blue tack for ever you will see what I mean when you are removing your own one.

Here is a link not much info in it but might help

Don't do that Tsporter, it will most likely be a different thread type and feck up what you screw it into.
