Front fog has some water - How to fix? 6 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 70
I have some water in one of my front fog lights. Too much to burn off for the NCT visual. Anyone know how to fix it. Can the ligth unit be opened from the front? I cannot fing the page in the BGB manual.

Any info/help would be appreciated.

Drill a small hole in base then fill in with some sealant

Don't refill the hole, as the water will keep coming in, it's gotta drain somewhere

if the light continues to fog up tape one of those silica gel packs that always come in shoe boxes and stuff like that to the inside of the light (somewhere it doesnt effect beam dipersion and it should stop it fogging up as it absorbs moisture

Good tip Bommie.

Got the car sorted. Found two small holes from a previous owners repair. So all filled up and collected my NCT docs today...
