TOPIC: Which clutch?
#74890
Which clutch? 4 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 23
So my MR2 Tubby which I'd consider fast road/light track needs a clutch.
What'll I go for? It's running stock power so tempted just to fire back in a generic "gimme a clutch for this reg number" at the auto factors but wondering if anyone has any recommendations

Need a 3 piece kit, not really interested in some whopper yoke just something that'll do me for a while

it's a good few hours labour to put a clutch in
put in a good one once is cheaper than putting junk in twice ... especially if you are going to do a few track days

Yeah but I'll be doing the work myself so not too concerned and you're talking 400 euro for the clutch alone.
I can't imagine there isn't better value to be had or at least someone to recommend something a bit less eye watering for a standard power car

Mister 2 is right.I done mine myself and got a good 1 because of the time it takes to fit.I fitted a stage 1 excedy clutch kit(3peice) I got the clutch from drive n style in Roscommon for 350e. Bolted straight in.
