Update on this product: The watch is in the post to me @ a cost of €22.90 which i'm going to sell on at €30, Personally i think its a very unbelievable price but at least im being honest with yis, I'll bring it to the 1st mini meet for people to have a look at once i receive it, the profit per watch sold will be put towards the september birthday bash:

Na, kidding, having looked at the designs etc, I would happily pay 30 quid. I mean in fairness, you would pay more than that for any old watch, but this is the mr2.ie watch. It is a rare item and Dave, your a decent bloke, not even making a penny. I dont think you have to put the profits towards anything. The couple of euro barely covers the time and effort you put into researching manufacturers, designs, getting samples etc. After all the that, to put the "profits" forward to the forum, well...its very generous of you. Sure ill take one anyway. Looking forward to seeing the sample one either way.

To be honest I was going to give the go ahead for 25 watches and anything i didnt sell i'd put on ebay but im not going to shell out that kind of money untill i get the watch myself etc. If yis like it I could always ask them can they number them 1 to 25 etc as a limited edition?

I'm not much of a watch person but i may take one as a keep sake, looking forward to seeing the sample have you ordered a quantity of them or will you be placing an order after people pay in full/deposit?

I know you did a lot of research inot mr2.ie products Dave, did you ever think of air fresheners? it's something that popped into my head the other day, i think it's something that could be done cheap and would be of interest to everyone who uses the forum

I never wear a watch myself Mark but im mad into collectors items as far as MR2's go and my most recent buy was two plastic bags from an 80's Paris Fashion show with MR2 MK1's on them, i'll bring them to my next meet What better way to get a rare MR2 item than to give the go ahead yourself for it to be made etc I really hope the finsihed article is like the picture

Ive only ordered the one so far because I want to make sure its decent, and If your a regular MR2.ie member payment before or after ive ordered it is fine.

My current watch is a present from my wife (so, may not wear the MR2 one all the time), but I'm same as Dave, Mark etc - I'll definitely want one as a collectors item
