Central Locking Mystery - 97 NA UK Spec 8 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
Guys, about 2 weeks ago the central locking button on the alarm fob (original toyota) stopped working. I have searched through threads and can't find exactly what the fix is. I don't want to go dismantling the door card, if thats not where the problem is. This is how it works at the moment;

1. Lock button on fob doesn't work (little light flashes)
2. All will lock and unlock from drivers side with the key
3. Only passenger door locks and unlocks when the internal central locking button on the drivers side is pressed.
4. When central locking button internally is pressed, relay can be heard clicking.

Any suggestions much appreciated, trying to do it myself if I can, if not, just have to wait till I can scrape a few quid together. Not top priority, but annoying whens things not working as they should.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, I looked, but can't see it on mine. Are you taking about near the fog light switches?
