Following on from last years show, which lots of members put lots of effort into, the 2011 Terenure Classic Car Show date has been set for July 3rd 2011.

We went in 2009 and it p1ssed rain. We went in 2010 and we nearly got blown away. 2011 can't get much worse !!? July snow ??

Anyway, even with the crazy wind, it was a great day and I'll start off the list for the 2011 entry. For those that aren't familiar with the show, we get our own stand/area and "stands" (patches of grass) are judged. We were destined to win the Best Stand prize but we couldn't put up the gazebos and hence all the rest of our stand couldn't be displayed.

Again, for those who are not familiar, it isn't just classics - there are all sorts, from American Muscle to classics, Italian, JDM and more

Most of you know me from the ole lad I take from the mental home every now and then.

Thanks for the comments on my new MR2, I have my name down for the Terenure show, hope to see a few MRs at Cars and Coffee On Sunday, I might pick a few brains from anyone who doesn’t mind about these Turbos etc, I’m totally lost with it.

On another note, in case anyone is wondering about the username, my ole lad, was telling me the chat about the car turned StarWars so I had to stay with it.

Hi All,

The forms for the Show arrived today:
Key Points:
Event Sunday 03/07/11 @ Terenure College
Open On the Saturday from Midday to 5pm if anyone wants to check out the pitch.
Open on the Sunday Morning from 7am
Open to the public @ 11am to 5pm
Cost: €15 if you pre-register & pay OR €20 on the day. Free Commeritive Plate on the day if you pre-registered.
If anyone needs a form please put your name below & PM me with your e-mail adrress and I'll send it on.
We would like to get all entries sent in by the 20th of May, the more cars we have pre-registered the bigger the plot we will get.
It would also be a good idea to try and send all the entries off together, so you could fill in the form an e-mail it back to us with payment by paypal or bring the filled in form to a meet and €15 cash. A cheque will then be sent with the forms and we should have the admission tickets back for all entries by the end of June.

Just fill in the entry form, PP Dshamrock the money and details will be posted to you from the organisers.

We normally meet up and go in together then.
