hey all, just putting this up on here as our last big meet attracted alot of members from here so ive been onto "Quandry" and would like to give yee an official invite to our big meet part2... we have over 40 names from our site alone already and its up on 7 other sites aswell with alot of interest so it should be a cracker once again.. site photographers will be there on the day along with a few more talented photographers so there will be pics galore.. hope to see yee there,

Well Lads the time has come again for our big site meet


So the date is Sunday the 26th of June at 3pmPM.Location is the midway food court on the main M7 motorway at Portlaoise as its probally oneof the most central location in the country to hold a big meet.Now lads this is a MEET so strictly no messing.Meets have been held here loads of times and there is never a problem unless there prick acting and I guarantee any one that mess's will be banned as it a sunday afternoon in a very public place with familys around.

So get the names down people let's make this a meet to remember.Last year we had over 90 cars at one stage so lets top this

ennis and limerick members on toc-irl are meeting at the B&Q, golf links road, ballysimon, limerick for 1pm, leaving for portlaoise at 1:30pm sharp... meet at 3pm.. any member on here from any county that wants info about convoys from their county to portlaoise, just reply on this thread and ill put up details.. galway members can meet up with ozzy

Great day! 4 dueces there Weather was powerful. Was surprised not to see one supra I think slip might of took a pic or 2??

Well what a great day for a drive it was, met some really nice folks in Nenagh for a Cars & Coffee first thing, after a 2 hour drive. It’s the first time ever drove from mine to Nenagh at a relaxed pace and enjoying my surroundings. Then got to one of my favourite roads in Ireland Birr to Borrisokane, what a road. I would drive up and down it every day and never get bored.

Then from there I headed up the country to the TOCirl midlands meet, nice drive passed loads of Vespa’s from England heading back for the ferry. I will admit to being a bit of a two stroke junky and just drove behind them for a while breathing in the noxious glory of oil and petrol in the combustion chamber.

Anyway arrived at Midway and drove in to my surprise not a single Toyota gathering to be seen, so out of the car park and on for a drive around town where I bumped into a few of the lads. So we headed back up and nope, still nothing special happening. True to form though, about 15 minute to the agreed time Toyotas started appearing from every direction.

A vast selection of varying degrees from stock to modified, each one looking well cared for and some special beasts, such as twin engine starlets, supra powered altezza’a etc anyway enough waffle here are the pictures.

Would have loved to see some Supra’s and GT4’s there perhaps even a twin cam or two but you can’t have everything. I headed off early, perhaps more happens and Ozzy could fill in the gaps. Great meet and Corofin you have been Kc’d.

mine wasnt there very dissapointed, it was absolutly brutal weather in clifden, so i tought it was the same around the place very bad luck. will only have to wait for next year now .

thanks mate.. we were very happy with the turn out.. as you said, i was first in at 20 to 3 and there wasnt a soul there.. the blood started to drain from the head at that stage but low are behold, from 3 on the sound of toyotas could be heard in all directions... yee were nearly first to arrive and within a half hour 2/3rd's of the carpark was full... the weather was unreal (i bring a whole new meaning to redneck,lol).. cheers for making the effort guys and roll on next year..

I thought that was you parked in the corner, but I never went over to introduce myself, sorry.

I had arrvied earlier and all that was there was the lads with the Porsche, BMW's etc, don't know what club or gathering they were. Started to doubt myself and my memory for where the meet was happening.

Of course when you think about it, Toyota being as reliable as they are nobody has to leave with a buffer of a couple of hours to deal with mechanical failure on the way.

Just hop in a drive, they way all cars should be.

no hassle at all...thats it surely... i hit some of the biggest bugs in ireland on the was home tho.. if the gards stopped me i could of been held for questioning about a hit and run cause the bumper was covered in splatters of blood.. the convoys worked out very well with times.. was great seeing lines of cars pouring in knowing that out work with reps paid off.. couldnt of asked for a better day in fairness.. well chuffed

Thanks for the pics, looks like a great day out. sorry I couldn't make it but I'm doing my best to make it to the show next sunday hopefully it will be a nice day for it.
